Obesity and Diabetes

There's a strong association of type 2 diabetes with obesity. Obesity is one of the major threat factors for type 2 diabetes. Farther obesity is a precursor of type 2 diabetes with insulin resistance. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas in the body to regulate and bring down the blood sugar situations. In a fat existent, the quantum of NEFA, glycerol, hormones, cytokines, proinflammatory substances, and other substances that are involved in the development of insulin resistance are increased.
