Obesity and Cardiovascular diseases

Obese individuals require further blood to supply oxygen and nutrients to their bodies which causes an increase in blood pressure. Your body will also bear further pressure to move this blood around. High blood pressure is also a common cause of heart attack, which are sorely more common for fat individuals. Abdominal obesity has been shown to be a threat factor for CVD worldwide. Obesity may be associated with hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, or insulin resistance, and elevated situations of fibrinogen and C- reactive protein, all of which increase the threat of CVD events. Obesity and several affiliated downstream metabolic cardiovascular threat factors, including elevated blood pressure, dyslipidemia, and hyperglycemia, have been linked to the extent of atherosclerotic disease in necropsy studies of children and youthful adults.
